    About Me

    Former Occupational Therapist

The district care coordinator for Toronto Central LHIN in Toronto, Ontario, former occupational therapist Brenda Hanna oversees the rehabilitation of clients funded by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan from their point of hospital discharge to community residence. Servicing a diverse clientele with severe conditions and needs, former occupational therapist Brenda Hanna provides tailored home care interventions and partners with community agencies to expedite the rehabilitation of her clients. This has earned her recognition from both management and those in her care for her delivery of superior services and her budget management skills.

Before joining TC-LHIN, she was the owner and operator of AchieveMax Rehabilitation Inc., where she managed the delivery of multidisciplinary rehabilitation health services and implemented quality healthcare plans to assist clients in Windsor, Ontario, a city which lacked such services until the creation of her business. In this role, she excelled in providing quality rehabilitation services and developing client care recommendations that generated solid returns to the business.

Ms. Hanna earned both her bachelor of health science (BHSc) and master of occupational therapy (MOT) from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. During her time with the institution, she assisted in the advancement of its rehabilitation department and in obtaining grants for core university-level studies.
